I met Carolyn and Wayne, my first English clients, in September 2005.
In few moments Carolyn and Wayne decided that the house with the little balcony, but with a spectacular view, and made on different levels, will be their “little” home in the historical centre of Calitri.
Once made the completion, was the time to make the restoration project. In photos below is possible to see how one part of the house was. Are not under here photos about the little cellar with the entrance in the living room, the second apartment with the mezzanine level and the big vault, the big cave on the street level.
After looking for the best constructor company in Calitri, the Acocella brothers, Carolyn and Wayne signed their deed for restorations’ works.
After 7 months of work, and a hard work carried out by me to assure everything will be as my clients requested…or better, and after a lot of funny days lived with all workers, Carolyn and Wayne visited their home completely restored.
That days, for me, was wonderful see how them and their friends, were surprised at see their “little” home changed in a comfortable and very nice Casetta in the historical centre of Calitri. They decided to call it “Blue Sky” because of the beautiful sky of this region and that you can see from the nice balcony of their bedroom!
